He's not a troll. A few from our department got affected this week. It only impacted full time employees, not contractors.

Sorry Troll, no layoffs this week.

You actually do not know what you are talking about do you? SSB stock has been rising almost daily since Trump was elected and not one person in my 200+ department has unwillingly lost their job.

When ever the stock goes up its proof the layoffs are happening.

Stock hit $92.15 earlier

Just wait till the company starts charging you for the following things as a worker

  1. A chair rental fee

2 Pay toilets

3 To park in the lot

4 They may even start asking the workers for a kick back to keep their jobs at State street

How ironic State Street uses a ship as a symbol (lol) And since 2000 all the Ceo's have acted like the Captain of the Titanic. Too arrogant and full of themselves

So you haven't heard that a whole floor at channel is shipping to JAB?

Well then maybe you are clueless or a troll.

You can welcome them in a couple months

I work in the JAB and not one person can back up your claim, so I am going to call you out as a troll.

A pathetic one at that.

These people laying staff off have no idea how devastating this is to go through.

It's depressing, frightening, demoralizing, stressful and a whole host of emotions, none remotely bordering on happy.

Maybe relief until you have to wake up to the realization the next morning you need to find a new job and get yourself geared up to find a job you fit and oh yeah hope they hire you.

I think right now the economy is in a lot better shape than the mud-2000's but it doesn't alleviate TNT anxiety of being dumped.

If it's happening to you, good luck, I hope you find a new job that serves you well.

I think we all can be not just sympathetic but empathetic.

I have heard same thing.

Is it just a person here and there. Or full dept. ?

Also is it same scenario - layoff with severance or different situation?
