Its not just Avaya. Revenues of major telecom companies have declined significantly in last few years. It's important for Avaya to diversify its business or merge with some infrastructure solutions company or service provider. I recently got chance to join one of executive briefings session. The latest products from Avaya are nothing but repackaged applications. Just another marketing tactics, nothing else.

But it's crap,we were made to use it and it's all rubbish
They ain't minding contact centert. Hence major losses with the best leaving Galway office to form new companies to compete against it. Avaya is in a zombie state, quicker chapter 7 happens the better for whatever can be salvaged.
Customers do not need and they do not care about platform like Breeze, Oceana or in future you might have Sea, Sun, Moon, Universe, Galaxy etc etc. Tell us what new Avaya invented in terms of Communication. Do you have anything new other than Voip call, video, voice mail, messaging, conference, call center solution ? Do you ever thought of inventing software like Skype, Skype for business, Lync, Whatsapp (very soon Whatsapp for business will be released in market and its gonna be damn cheap and feature rich). Software like these have already eaten up and eating UC market. So Avaya UC is nothing but a liability. The creditors are well aware about this. The only profitable business is CC for Avaya which they will sell off sooner or later.
Mind it.
Seems to me the only idiots are the ones believing what Avaya says. "Business as usual". A lot of folks getting tired of hearing that.
What an idiot, uneducated post.
what is the current situation at Avaya?
any new update
Channel account management consists of knowing how to click forward and send in their email apps. Product suffers as focus is on EBITA spin and not on a GA product using customers as R&D labs. Like watching an episode of the "Bar rescue"
Avaya has been a company of roadmaps to nowhere over past 7 years. Too much turn over in field staff that cannot keep up with roadmap messaging. Resulting in misinformation and confusion. No need for FUD from competitors. Avaya does a good job at shooting themselves in head.
Correct! Repackaged and with less quality and features than what they're repackaging. Bad executive decisions driving this company into the ground.
Drink much Kool-Aid lately?
Bu*sht. Oceana and Breeze are completely new platforms. Were you asleep or browsing the Cisco website?
