Poll questions:
What do you do to distract yourself from thinking about it day in and day out?
Are you wishing to be RIFd or Retained?
Do you think they might speed this up and do it on the 12th instead?
Why is it so often done on a Wednesday?

If anybody is finding a new job before the ax falls, they might just keep it to themselves. No sense telling everybody where you landed, in case some unfriendly former co-worker wants to unseat you.
And those finding new jobs might just only tell close friends, not any Joe Random who also got cut from their site.
Do we have anyone finding a new job to share? Reading this board is pessimistic.
IT getting hit hard, about 30% in terms of $s next Wed.
I recommend you develop a new skill or perhaps create a new product for the masses. For example, I've developed a fun and entertaining game called " Jump to Conclusions".
Trump 2020.
Still can attend the DnD after you formed the table and you get chopped. STX with give you a wild card to go to the DnD. Don't worry!!
if retrench this month, no need form table already and not allowed to go also
Just focus on forming a table for dnd.
I reccomend
Do some courses on EdX to learn something which is useful at your current job and outside.
Then you will stop to worry, since you are learning something. The threat will help you to focus on learning. Please try it and you will enjoy it.
never stop learning ! learn and pickup new skills while working
Bob Slydell: You see, what we're actually trying to do here is, we're trying to get a feel for how people spend their day at work... so, if you would, would you walk us through a typical day, for you?
Peter Gibbons: Yeah.
Bob Slydell: Great.
Peter Gibbons: Well, I generally come in at least fifteen minutes late, ah, I use the side door - that way Lumbergh can't see me, heh heh - and, uh, after that I just sorta space out for about an hour.
Bob Porter: Da-uh? Space out?
Peter Gibbons: Yeah, I just stare at my desk; but it looks like I'm working. I do that for probably another hour after lunch, too. I'd say in a given week I probably only do about fifteen minutes of real, actual, work.
I want this over asap regardless of the outcome for me. I'm ready to move on and hate the impending doom that has been at Seagate the last few years.
Why not find something else to do with your precious time on this planet?
Wow. Obsess much? That's a lot of questions.
