Thread regarding DXC Technology layoffs

When is the next US layoff?

It’s been about 2 weeks since the bloodbath. Anyone hear when the next round is coming?

USPS is cutting like that? Why? How? They cannot ship offshore I am assuming. Or is it a fixed price contract and they are just cutting heads so someone (mgmt) get a bigger bonus? Disgusting!

I am in USPS. We had 197 bodies start of the year, now only 134 remain... we have been hit with about 6 -8 WFRs every month. Last Friday Aug 26 we lost 5 more. Guess what didn't follow those bodies out the door ... their frickin work! All of us left behind have way more work than we can possibly do. I would have thought the promised automation would have come BEFORE they cut our workforce... nope. Drowning here.

1 gone in my division (account is US based). But since there are only 4 left in US (out of 175), I guess you could say 25% WFR this time.

"Bloodbath" dates tend to be around the end of pay periods. That's not a rule of thumb, but it is a noticeable trend.

There were a few hits yesterday. Lately it's been just a handful..you can bet a big round is coming. Historically it's almost always around Thanksgiving as well (former CSC)

Historical probability indicates the ax will swing Friday August 25. About as predictable as an ere----- at a prom dance.
