They've already cut some of the benefits and bonuses.... I'm wondering if basic pay is fixen to be cut, along with bonuses being a thing of the past and higher insurance with higher deductibles.......

Gloom and doom in the office? Gloom and doom on this board. You guys are ridiculous. Some incredible people have been let go and all you can do is complain about yourselves. Please go. Leave. You are clueless as to what's happening in the industry. I'm not looking. I'm staying and doing my job.

Most engineers with significant CO2 experience have already left. DRI management does not realize this yet.. but they will sooner rather than later.

Based on the proposed changes and cuts, it appears management is encouraging folks to move on. I want this company to succeed as much as anyone, but I fear we'll lose our best people in the coming months.

Just be sure you're not jumping from the frying pan into the fire. Due diligence is a must in these times. The problems here are potentially solveable if we focus on the right things. Too much focus on possible employment elsewhere doesn't help in that regard.

Your optimism is appreciated in these trying times. Maybe I'll change my mind and ride it out too. It would be much easier with a crystal ball. And any place you go will have its own challenges.

Would love to hear of others that remain optimistic.

Well I just don't know what to think about all of this. I have been working for Denbury for 10 years. They have been a good company. The green line and the blow out that happen in north Louisiana is what cost them a lot of money. But I'm going to hang in there until the end.

Most of the top people saved their jobs and saved their "yes man's" job. These guys are milking the left overs as much as possible, making few of the smartest people to slave. Get the heck out of that place folks.

I'm on the hunt and hoping to find something before things get any worse. It is really, really sad though. Denbury used to be a great place to work, far better than anywhere I was before. Now they are slowly chipping away at our income and benefits, with more to come. There is no job security and no possibility of growth. The culture is completely destroyed, and there is a constant sense of doom and malaise. It is really a sad and pathetic shell of what it once was. And I get the feeling no one with power cares or has any desire to make it better. It is almost as if they are hoping people will leave.

Never imagined that I would be, but time to face reality. It would be so wonderful to work at a company that is relevant and isnt constantly doom and gloom.

DRI is undergoing a slow but steady exodus of talent. Top performers that DRI once had are mostly gone.
