Was RA'd in June had a job lined up making more money in no time.
Two days after the conf call from some guy in India letting me know I was being RA'd my job was posted in another country.
All I can say is get your resume ready and prepare to be amazed how sh--ty working at IBM really was:

Hey original poster, that's tough and I hope you're doing okay. IBM really knows how to rub salt in the wounds. Leave the company while you still have your health, sanity, happiness and peace of mind because the abuse we take at IBM simply isn't worth it. All the cost-cutting, overwork, under-appreciation, bureaucracy and mental-midgets for upper management will simply cause you to burn out.
There are much better opportunities at other companies where they treat you as a valued employee rather than a number that can be replaced by someone from a low-cost country. In the long run you will be much better off outside of IBM. Best wishes in your future endeavors.
