Yes, same here. Could not agree more with the last post.
Many of those things were true in my case. I was fortunate enough to quit DNR before all the layoffs started, When you can no longer tell the folks reporting to you that management knows what they are doing and it will work out, it's time to move on. The writing was on the wall a long time ago.
It was really sad when they started bringing in new people and the talk was about the importance of Denbury Culture, while they were destroying the Denbury Culture. This was truly a great company to work for prior to the founder leaving. Once he was pushed out the empire builders took over and completely destroyed it.
I feel incredibly fortunate to have worked there and wish that everyone could experience what it's like to be part of a great bunch of people working toward building something and seeing it succeed. Many of us did very well because Gareth believed in sharing with everyone, including the little guys.
Well seems DRI has most of those covered. Top 100 places to work, that is hilarious now
