I am not getting into arguments with anyone , but reality is how come 20 year old VMAX architecture compete with new solutions from competitors. Changing SATA to SAS doesn't qualify for true all flash. Look at all those in 176 working overtime and keeping their jobs, because of management pressure and extra bonus money which Dell willing to write blank check. Not for VMAX success.

People who made that decision are still with EMC, it's not Dell decision back then. We bought EMC not the other way around.

VMAX s---s too, can't compete with real modern All Flash Arrays.

Finally VMAX has won. So much money wasted and decision about three years too late. People who delayed this decision are still at dell so ...is this true
