The first phase of layoff in August is complete in MRES. Following sites were affected Hopkinton, NDC, MDC, ADC, Hopkinton and RTP. In NDC 30 people affected and MDC around 20 were affected. Folks from other sites please let us know in this thread the casualties.
The second phase which will be the biggest will be in September. The third phase in October will be similar to the August one. The Q3 layoff are planned like a wave with the crescendo in September.
This information from credible source in HR, the September event will be preceeded by an organization realignment which will be announced in first week of September. The layoffs are going to happen in second week and will affect all sites including in India. Senior HR contact told me that big heads will roll including senior directors.
