it a problem that Technical software is not making any sense. It's losing revenue and most do nothing but travel to waste time and money. There's to many IBMS. So you wander why IBM IS not making the new revenue because most accounts do not record revenue or reporting revenue so it's easier to say that we hit our numbers? Any one can say but in reality it's not making money

Walmart is not really dumping IBM completely. They are however moving from IBM software to any open source equivalents. Think databases, webservers, analytics, containers, performance monitoring, etc. With their size they can get contracted support for open source software at a fraction of the similar support they pay from IBM. They will still use IBM mainframes and operating systems but anything that has an open source equivalent is fair game.

If so, that's pretty major. Walmart is a big, long time all blue shop and IBM protected that at all costs, often shipping in all kinds of techs on IBM's time to fix all the screwups and buggy products. Also it was rumored that Warren Buffett sold off more IBM shares in August, is that true?
