If NDC team is a 6 in a rating of one to ten with ten being the best. BDC is a 2. The BDC team has spent three years to understand Equallogic which was developed in NDC and they can't even fix minor defects without breaking some other unrelated stuff. Even these folks are working in cyclone which is a big joke. They are working in a migration project for cyclone and they know batshit about storage arrays. They worked in a migration project earlier between Dell legacy storage where they couldn't go beyond school boy level programming.They have successfully fooled everyone including CTO and generally having fun. Hope folks in Hopkinton realize that they have been taken on ride by a technically incompetent bogus team.

I works in the QA team of the migration project for Cyclone. We have fooled everyone by giving faked demos with no underlying functionality. I dunno how long we can carry through this con job. We are hoping our two conmen techies will come up with some new con job to fool cyclone management. Our director claims CTO is in his pocket. But we dunno for how long.

I can vouch for equallogic incompetence of bdc storage. These guys are a bunch of useless fellows who haven't added even a small iota of value into the product. Their only saving grace is they are a low cost cheap labor workforce.

cto in the pocket.. I have seen him badmouth bdc storage in small gatherings. So it is not credible for BDC to think that cto is in the pocket. Other thing is mres management are not all that pleased with BDC storage and they are more inclined towards EMC CoE. But it needs to be seen how these conmen can pull the wool on Hopkinton management.

Bangalore may not witness any big layoff. The low cost versus high cost country ratio will get skewed and Michael won't be happy. What you meant get have is targeted layoffs based on some organizational alignment and getting rid of under performers. Under performance is again a lot subjective and usually a tool. for managers to target people whom they don't like.

even layoff decision and strategies are run by these quality of management. what do you expect?

True, it's the managers and their bad attitude that's destroying the products. NDC managers make 170K base plus bonuses and LTI and in some teams they only protect insiders and friends, good/skilled engineers cannot survive under them and were laid off. Heard the same about Hopkinton too.

unprofessional set of folks is BDC storage They are good in manipulating head count numbers. They know how to handle Hopkinton through their own crooked ways.

Is the storage CTO really in their pockets. I don't believe it. If it is true no bigger fool than CTO. The director of BDC storage must be exaggerating as he is well known always bragging about himself. I know from netapp friends he was kicked out of three teams. Everyone knows he is a bogus guy who lies out and out.

Its okay folks. Even cyclone is in a mess. you can hide under that big mess.

Likely the CTO will also go down the drain with this kind of delusional decision making.
