Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

Are layoffs in Bartlesville over?

Are the layoffs in Bartlesville over except for the groups/individuals who have already been told they are here until October or February? I know that a couple of other small assets have been sold but a lot of reorganization has taken place too. Bartlesville seems to have a sense of relief after the last round.

Plus the negative comments about moving to Houston have quieted down. (Please no rude comments about Bartlesville being shut down) I'm simply wanting thoughts on where Bartlesville's future stands. The stockholder's meeting kept mentioning there were things they could not talk about until the November 8 stock holder's meeting, which I interpret as there's more coming.

I have heard there are a lot more to come in the next 6 months with centralization for almost everyone by June 2018 and with a few groups coming later. Although, as we all know management does not communicate with us so all we have to go off of is rumors and hearsay from co-workers.

In my opinion the only ones that will be left are the "special" ones they care enough about to find them new positions within the company, definitely favoritism no matter how hard you work.

Life is still good if you are part of the ELT & Management! They are still wondering why the deplorables and stockholders are confused and unhappy!

No. There will sadly be a lot in October. But our leadership will still be well compensated and comfortable as they fly around in their personal Gulfstream jets, an extra one just in case, and telling us how we need to improve.
