Methinks Anon (a certain TM by any chance) you're being hard on ex-NOV. She is only reporting back what she's heard. I heard the same feedback from agencies about the reprieves and also that some ex-employees (non-managerial) had been told not to bother trying to return.
That said, I agree it's great to heard about so many people being taken on again. Onward and upward!!!

As far as your comment goes, over ten turners taken on, another fifteen now being taken on, fitters , inspection , 6 stores, order book heaving, all good , wish everyone wouldn't be on such a downer, in a hell of a better position than this time last year, lighten up man!!
After the November layoffs, the remaining staff were told consultancy had started on closure in February. After two retrieves of 30 and 60 days, it was kept open with limited re-recruitment into certain positions.
However, it appears certain former office staff have found out via agencies that they are not to be remployed. Inane case, the agency was bluntly told where to go. Don' t know what that's about?
