Thread regarding Toronto-Dominion Bank layoffs

500 let go from Toronto Dominion

TD layoffs more than 500 employees from may to august 2017. My position was eliminated on the name of organizational changes.

Can anybody confirm this? If it's true, the original poster is right, this was done very stealthily and with no media attention.

And it is happening all over again. At least 80 people in tech and who knows how many elsewhere. Every time I try to contact someone for my project, I find out about more people who had their positions eliminated with no replacements, but the work still has to get done.

yes, TD had laid off the entire IT department under the name of CUETS in Regina SK. We were both TD employees. The estimated staffs in that building is about 200-500. TD didn't announce anything amid the record breaking profit year again. Sham on TD for being so sneaky. They didn't try their best to offer employeees any jobs within TD in Toronto.
