Targets are insane. Does the business not want sales staff and this is a way to flush them them out of the business? We have had several resignations of top reps in the past 2 weeks and more to come. Top reason. Target is impossible and plan makes no sense, no one will listen
Leading up the quarter were all told that the targets will be huge. People just started leaving.
Net result. Customers lose focus because they carry such a massive number. Then we need to replace the rep, spend goes backwards, eventually they go elsewhere and become aquisition. We then pay hunter teams 400% multipliers to bring customer back. Illogical. Why do we do this?
