California location - While on vacation a deposit was made it to my account from BBB... I'm an ASM was with this company 7 years...Spent most of my time working to be a successful ASM...IT'S a VERY SAD WEEK for all BBB DEPT. MGR's, ASM's and anyone else effected by this...Was contacted by the DM today, prior to my return date to come in to speak with the SM and DM...Received a severance package....WOW!!!way to go BBB....

You were called in for a meeting from your vacation. My friend was fired/laid off over the phone....after 17 years with BBB.
Do these people have no clue how to conduct HR ? Yes it s---s to lay people off. Yes, companies have to do it. How about a little empathy in how you do it.
