I hope, for all SWN shareholders sake, that someone buys them out. With horrible management, a CEO who has no idea what he is doing and employees in a state of flux, a takeover is the only answer for survival.

Very very doubtful and not a good fit. RRC closed on MRD September 2016. Read comments on this websitefor Range Resources.

I haven't looked at the financials, to see how debt laden Range is, but it would be a very nice fit.... Match up in southwest PA/WV ..... reasonable match to their Terryville purchase in North La with Fayetteville and added quality gas in NE PA ( and they have some there, but a little distant)...

-- with all that said, I don't see any advantage to Range... basically a top tier gas focused company picking up a 3rd tier group. IF it happened it would mean big payoffs for execs and major/major cuts to staff...
