From an ex-Seagate employee, so sorry to hear of yet another layoff. Wishing you and yours well wishes and a speedy recovery. For those still at Seagate, I encourage you to look elsewhere. Seagate management has you in it's sights. You will be targeted. Your days at Seagate are numbered. Take the plunge and find a company that actually values it's employees. Seagate has not valued you since the early 2000's.
For Seagate Leadership: Shame on you. You have spent the last 15 years working tirelessly to undermine the hard work of thousands of dedicated employees and boy oh boy have you succeeded. Your track record over the last couple decades is one of lost business, bizarre direction, broken and unrealized promises, and the slow drip of destruction you bring to working people and their families punctuated only by regular bursts in destructiveness when ruining people's lives. All the C levels are crooks and in it for themselves. But hey, don't let the struggles of the little people stop you from cashing out those stock options. There's money to be made after all. Screw the little guy.
