Seagate has no interest in innovation anymore. They'll keep gutting departments and laying off employees and enriching themselves along the way. Then the company will be sold, and they will make money off the Seagate carcass.
AMS is an Austrian silicon chip manufacturer. At the back end of last year they took over a company called Heptagon based in Singapore. Heptagon specialised in 3D imaging and illumination. AMS optical sensors help adjust the brightness and colors on smartphone screens. So as a combined company they supply the smart phone industry with chips and optical solutions.since the merger the company has gone from strength to strength. A good example of buying out another company that combines well with what you already do...A lesson to be learnt there by Seagate management...
No way. It's Chuck Norris in the OCTAGON. Be afraid. He might get laid off by Seagate.
