I have read on several forums people mention August as a month some layoffs are expected at Noble. None of it looks too credible though, so I am not sure what to think about it. Has anybody heard anything about this? I would be very grateful for any info, since my stress level have been through the roof as it is.

I heard that 69 where lay off mostly contractors, but Friday will tell the tell, I'm sure the ones that made it pass last year thought they was okay, what a shame :) .
Why does know one no the number of personnel that was layoff Aug 11 2017, was it just contractors and/or emeployees? Was it in Deepwater D&C are just across the board?

Noble lays off on Tuesdays, Wednesday's and Thursday's. Watch for the black SUVs.
August 11th is a Friday. The company is much more considerate than to lay off on a Friday, back in November it was on Monday; "Welcome back to work, now get the hell out of here!"
Yep, the same here, August 11 is the last day what I have been told.
Most of this loss is attributable to the write down if the Marcellous stuff.

Dude, they always layoff at Christmas time. There is no way they would miss out on the satisfaction of bending over their loyal employees during the holidays. So, I think you are safe, until around the holidays when you will have to cancel Christmas courtesy of Noble.
