2grz, you are so sweet and honestly ethical. I hate to tell you this and burst your bubble but the higher ups know what's going on they just don't acknowledge it because to acknowledge it would make them complicit. They will fire enough "bad apples" to create the illusion of trying to run an ethical organization, then hire others who have no other choice but to do the same thing, because it's the only way to satisfy the demands of leadership. Unqualified students have been enrolled for years and years, grade inflation is the only way to create retention and even then 80% of the student population drops out.

I can say that this is the most unethical school I've ever seen! I've seen so many things from admissions to call from unrecorded lines to avoid compliance, going over plans with students, make exceptions for one student over another amongst a donzen of other things. Not sure if upper management knows what goes on in the trenches but it's pretty scandalous! Lower management is fudging numbers and enrolling students who they know damn well are not equipped to being successful; it's all about the numbers not about the students being successful. I feel so bad for the instructors because the students that they allow to enroll is beyond ridiculous. I believe in bettering yourself but they have no support for students who are not capable of performing at higher levels. It's truly sad and needs to stop. Presidents of the campuses stop turning your heads and pay attention to what's going on! You are not making the culture better by turning your head. You can call these people on here bitter all you want but it's all true testimony and karma will do nothing but bite the whole org in the a--!

Isn't the DOE being defunded? Seems to me - if that's the case - the lack of rules and regulations aren't going to mean much. In the end, For Profit colleges will be starved of government cash and die.

What fraud? Obviously you haven't worked there for years.

The fraud at EDMC schools is so well known, documented and true - it has been going on for years. I hold no hope that Devos is going to stop for-profit education fraud. I'm a former instructor and saw it all.
