I saw an email today that said all store managers are to attend a meeting on Thursday July 6th. Obviously there weren't many details in the email, but this sounds similar to what happened back in January a few days before the first wave of layoffs happened. Honestly though, the way things seem to be going for the company, this meeting could be about anything.
Anybody has any more info on this? I am dreading tomorrow, to be honest.

perhaps they thought any meeting could be handled by a email..

Isn't this all so crazy? It really makes me sad to read about everyone so worried about their jobs. This company always used to be one where you didn't used to make a lot of money but you would always have a job.
Yes you re better off getting cut getting some severance now than BK no severance and a flooding of th market of people looking for jobs just like you
to tell the truth I work at sears and would rather be told our store will be closing so I can get my severance package instead of being told the company will be shutting down and get crap for my time with this company while Eddie walks away with his pockets full.
Not to mention this not knowing from day to day week to week is killing me
