One year from now the COP work force will downsize to between 7.000 and 8,000 employees. This is going to happen because the company is way over staffed given the workload. Sorry current employees but there is no other way out of this situation. Stockholders need to see a future and massive layoffs will add 10 to 20 points to the stock price plus pay for dividend increases. ELT knows this and therefore is the focus of much derision. They are going to make a move soon and will continue the process until stockholders are happy. In a capitalistic corporate world that is their job. Employees should feel cheated but there are winners and losers.

hmm, wait - the same ELT member you are spreading rumors about in other posts? Is he also the same ELT member that screwed you over because he wont close Bartlesville down like you keep asking for every day on here?
-1rph you are so right. I bleed ConocoPhillips red every day until I was screwed over by an ELT member. I hope every day he gets justice.
There are a lot of hurt people on here, a result of the schizophrenic treatment by COP of those that remain and those that left.
