ELT is determined to rescue their 5-year legacy and will take (are taking) the company down in that effort. During their 5-year watch:
Shareholder value has been destroyed
Shareholder dividend income has been slashed.
Employee and family livelihoods have been destroyed.
How could they do all of this is a 5-year period? How much more damage & pain does the ELT intend to do? Time, past time, to get them out of here.
2zga - you light weight, ELT failed to react properly with reduced revenues! Dramatic reduction in revenue requires dramatic actions! The ELT kelp too many employees and still have too many! You are most likely one them! If COP had reduced too many employees they could hire new ones or ex COP as required!
You appear to be excess baggage that needs to be released for other opportunities!
Umm, yeah - Oil prices falling into the low 30s had nothing to with the current state of the company - it was all the ELT.
Please go and join one of our peer companies. You will be so much happier there since oil is still $100bbl for them.
fag- Some of us had balls and left! It didn't take Ball and sir around thinking the company owed us something! As a stockholder still but not the thousands of shares that I once owned, I expect leadership to make good decisions! This has not been the case since the split came! Too many poor decisions to list here that has cost the COP billions! The ELT are highly compensated to make the hard decisions!
Let me make this simple statement: "If COP can't make a profit at $80 per bbl, how the hell are they going to make a profit at $45 per bbl"!
As a shareholder, it is time to terminate the ELT with cause and void any severance compensation package the had in their contract! Also, there is a need to go from top to bottom and review each employee and see if they add value to the bottom line. Eliminate those jobs that are marginal!
