So what's the scoop on why he got canned? What happened?

Please tell me you're talking about the arrogant bastard from St. Olaf.
When will Pearson clean house with all the s----up management level people that kissed up to him and played along with his games to get their promotions? It's time they get let go, too.
They love a pompous jerk to run their sales group. Went through several and they all stood in front of the organzation bragging about how rich they were. Still hear they promise sales numbers early and apologize they are late. That's been going on over a decade. Crazy crazy place.
I'm sure those who went to the Hoboken party for him only went because he may end up in a position where he can hire them.
He's notorious for hiring tall blondes. Maybe if he hired real sales people instead of based on looks, he could have had a winning team.
He can't be doing that bad. He bought his kid a fancy, expensive horse. He's sending his other kid to a snooty expensive private school. Maybe time for them to cut back on their lavish spending.
Speculation on why the person got canned:
-never made goal
-encouraged wasted expenses on lavish trips (i.e. Kentucky Derby Suite)
-promoted a good ol boy fraternity like atmosphere within senior executive management
-lack of institutional control, created toxic culture, and displayed ingenuine leadership
How come he got a party and the hundreds of others who were at Pearson (longer) that got laid off didn't even get a good bye email? I am confident those that attended the good bye party expensed their travel, hotel, rental cars for the party. They most likely expensed the after party as well at high dollar bar with expensive entertainment. I am sure whoever approving the expense reports will look the other way.
The big question now is who is next???? Surely the person who was let go is not the lone sacrificial lamb.
Did anyone see the pics on Facebook of the party they had on Tuesday for him? Bet the current Pearson employees expensed their travel and lodging to the Pearson company budget. No wonder the prices keep rising for students!
Wouldn't be surprised if the Pearson peeps found a way to expense the dinner and drinks for the entire event.
Will someone please spill the beans about this firing?
How will the firing it impact the sales organization?
Will they get rid of the wasted layers of management at Pearson who do nothing but harass reps and collect a fat check?
OP never gave a name, just the title of the person in question. Don't see how that violates anything.
