If you work for Aero, don't worry about the word soup. They will use this new behaviors to rate the ones they don't want, leave the high EEI and Yield engineers, and then spin off so new boards of directors 1st order of business is divest technologies and sell whole plants and technologies. There is also a furlough in Aero scheduled for July 4th - enjoy.

I have not heard anything about a furlough...
Is the furlough a fact?
I have never been this pesimistic about future with honeywell.
There has been 2-3 years with very little new work coming in for aero.
I am with aero for 13 good yrs and I think they are intentionally doing it till it phase out.
As much as I hate to leave for another job but I guess we are getting closer to the end day by day. I am mid 40 with plenty of skills but change is always hard
SPOT ON!
Honeywell leaders just look at numbers and try to figure out how to turn a business into cash in their pockets, not yours. If sales are good, if your site is pulling a rabbit out of a hat, they are giddy, if not, your site, division, group goes on the sale list. They do not want to waste their time trying to fix any part of the business. They do not do anything; they do not want to make anything - no people, plant, equipment, problems. They just want cash.
Also, if you aren't part of the new software portion of AERO, or the huge joke "power of connected" then your days are numbered. Don't wait for RIFmas; just get out now while you can. I've got 14 years and I'm bailing on this dipshit company.
It's all about growth now. If you work in a business segment that dominates in market share already then you're pretty much boned. Aggressive sales techniques can't sell more than the market can bear.
Yes, AERO is basically finished. Davey and the rest of the dipshits have milked all the value out of it. Now that they removed ALL the productivity, role knowledge and skills out of your reviews, you will now be dismissed based solely on how your manager "feels" your behaviors are. You can't come back on them for wrongful termination if they say your behaviors aren't up to HON standards; it's all subjective b---s---. GET OUT NOW WHILE YOU'RE EMPLOYED.
Miserable is the only way to describe Honeywell Aero.
I was one of the lucky ones that got bought off during the WFH debacle but I had 36 years there so I was ready.
What will it take for everyone to leave this miserable company? Leave on your term not when they show you the door or keep taking money away from you via furloughs, RIF's snd benifit reductions.
Crapy leaders, crapy attitudes and no future.
