IBM Fail

At about 1:30 p.m. ET Monday, May 22, the redcross.org public website went down due to a commercial power outage at the IBM Data Center in Annapolis, Md. Oracle, the platform which hosts redcross.org, is powered out of the Annapolis facility. Generators in the IBM facility went on, but the cooling system failed. That resulted in the center overheating with several devices failing.

Make a list of all of IBM's failures and keep it updated and repost the list each time!

What about LuLumon?

What's App?

They keep cutting service, billing customers obscene amounts, firing the productive workers and keep the do nothings!

Gee, a power outage issue --- just like the one that wiped out Delta Airlines last year. According to what I read, it was (a) the there were no APC batteries at the base of the cabinets and (b) no secondary generator system available to power the data center or the particular component that died. Now as this is a global AIRLINE (accidents are bad thing), the decision to outsource to IBM - read that, India, was a costly one. Gee, just like British Airways this year, but they wisely did not outsource to IBM India, they chose Tata India. Same result.

IBM, IBM... Time to move to AWS redcross.org!

Just wondering if that Data Center is a Bluemix data center?
