EDS, HP, HPE and DXC, for me, the first 12 years with EDS were good, a little shakey towards the end and the HP takeover, but the real rot started as soon as HP took the helm.
Shocking management and ethos, never gave a toss about employees even though HP was always in profit, zero career progression, zero pay rises, it went on and on.

The whole "I was only following orders" excuse has ugly connotations throughout history and really puts in to perspective the characteristics of the henchmen and henchwomen who've been brought in to grind this company into the dirt.
I wished I had faith in karma and these greedy c*nts will get what they deserve. I kninda think they will. Although, they are really just robots doing what they are told. "I was only following orders" is the justification they will comfort themselves with.
Odds on that those brought in to undertake the job culling will not be accepting pay cuts. The cynical f---wittery of upper management is grotesque.

Hurd was the biggest Weasel of them all! As soon as they took over we all had an email asking us if we would be willing to take pay cuts! This was in UK, I actually worked with people who agreed to this request. You couldn't make this stuff up.
Hurd didn't last to long though, he caused his own problems, but that's another story.
You are correct, the HP who took over EDS under the direction of that weasel Mark Hurd, began the rot. The rest were only too willing to pile like vultures on for the pickings.
