Anyone hear a rumor about Standard Aero issuing a Letter of Intent or Interest in regards to Aero?

@3ytl yes but that's it. No spex revenue, no engine rentals revenue, no labor revenue, nothing but parts revenue. This is how you grow a business; by making it smaller.
Yes and Honeywell still has the revenue on APU new replacement parts.
Correct. They still need to buy the license from the power of connected software company, DBA Honeywell. But they will handle the spex and engine rental support in addition to the R&O activities.
The A350 aftermarket business, at least for the HGT1700 APU was not sold. It is a licensing agreement and Honeywell remains the type certificate holder for the engine. Lufthansa is making royalty payments on the agreement and yes they make the majority of the future revenue less the royalty.
The A350 thing is not a rumor. We sold the entire business to Lufthansa. Seems like an odd thing to do when the leaders are obsessed with increasing revenue....you know...selling revenue streams while harping on growth and revenue increases.....
SA has already secured much of Aero's future R&O business "relative to" the engine product lines. Heard today that Lufthansa has secured all future R&O business for all A350 product lines, could be a rumor but I believe it. More and more work keeps disappearing, the aero sites have become nothing more than a shell of their former selves. Not gonna complain though, its been a good run. Over a decade of steady employment in jobs I mostly enjoyed. The gravy train can't go on forever, life goes on.
