If Targets picks up a mattress business and is successful with the marketing and selling of them it can be a huge gain. Not a lot of lines of business for a B&M retailer to land 50-60% margin!!!
4qrx: the bad decisions aren't new. They've been rolling for nearly your entire professed tgt tenure. Once Bob left we lost our rudder. There is not one new successful corporate strategy that's delivered in memory that goes back much further than the current leadership team or their predecessors. Frankly, the decisions made just prior to BC have created most of the pain we feel now.
I am afraid that Target has lost its way........horrible decisions being made! Us employees deserve better than this! 9 years with Target......sad to see what is happening.
