Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

What would happen if Berkshire Hathaway bought the company?

Wonder if Warren Buffett has appetite for computer chips??

Buffet only buys businesses he understands, like insurance. He wouldn't be interested in tech.

Actually Berkshire has holdings in Apple, IBM, MSFT, but sold all of its INTC holding back in 2012 (before BK) aka BBK

Intel employees especially older people would be very upset. Ajit Jain would become Chairman, Warren Buffet says he is the smartest Exec at Berkshie. PS Ajit has made 2billon while at Berkshire.

Trump and Russians may buy, to launder money.
