You all are a bit ridiculous. We will have a new BoD in a few months and all if not most of the Exec's will be gone. The second quarter was actually a big success if you compare it to the business plan filed with the creditors - we overachieved significantly.
Regardless if we emerge from Ch11 or go Ch7, it doesn't do anybody any good to piss and moan all day about it. You still have a job, you're still getting paid, the technology is still top-notch, and large customers are still signing multi-million dollar contracts. The technology will live on forever whether it's branded Avaya or something else. The company has been approaching this for the last multiple years.....you all had plenty of time to leave. The people who remain at Avaya are not dumb or stupid, actually all that are left are some of the smartest people I've ever worked with. The company has gotten rid of the LRC's (i.e. the slackers who everyone knows did nothing) and is now left with smart, talented, dedicated people. Attrition from top performers is expected, but the company continues to backfill them. Just enough with your negativity all the time. We don't need self-pity at the most crucial time in the companies history, we need people who innately desire to work towards success regardless of the circumstances surrounding them.
