Thread regarding Sears layoffs

points deleted

they deleted my SYW points, I should have used them before, you cant trust this company, $60 down the drain, i left the store without buying the overpriced items, and i took a huge dump in their bathroom before i left, if they go bankrupt its fine by me, i would like a better store at our mall...

You can call SYW to have the points returned to your account. I don't know what happens to the employee ones after you leave though.

They should expire in 90 or 180 days. 60 days is too short. If you have points, you just bought something so you might need to wait before shopping again.

I don't trust the points. On my last day I used my $2 in "employee discount points" to buy hand soap even though I was planning to go back in for a screwdriver set after my spouse was paid. Better to use it something that will be used at some point then to loose them.

@NlQsjWo, If you go back to that store next week, you'll find, that huge dump you left will still be there. Yup, right where you pinched it out. No janitor to plunger it down.

Also, it goes by store time. I was planning on using mine online but they were "expired". Think store closed at 9& I tried using them at 10CT which is the same time zone as Hoffman Estates so you think it would be at midnight CT. Oh well.

There is an expiration date with points I believe. I have always used mine before the expiration date.
