I am not a Sears/Kmart employee. I have been keeping tracking of the news as well as things on here, as I am looking for a new job. This afternoon I got an automated call from a 'recruiter' wishing me to speak to an area sales manager about working as a sales person of some sort with Sears, with pre-set appointments. I deleted the message, as I was thinking: How am I going to make $90,000 a year in commission for a company that is dying a horrible and slow death?

I think that is the area were you ask customer, if they need any home repairs. Like Siding, Windows, etc. I think you can make some money during that type of work, but you need customers coming into Sears. Enter at your own risk.
They seem to be wanting software devs. left and right theses days.
You made a very smart decision deleting that call. Sears is a disaster. That would be the most draining, demoralizing, short-term waste of time. Good luck with your search. Try to land before the few remaining Sears employees have to compete with you for the same positions.
