This was the low point in my professional career. I don't even have it on my resume. I had more fulfilling menial jobs when I was younger. There were a handful of people trying to improve processes and make the organization stronger but most weren't. It's really remarkable that they've grown their revenue as much as they have. It makes you wonder about their broader financial health. What are their margins, what's the their debt load? Is it just me or do you feel like there are some reviews on Glassdoor that aren't legit? They seem to cast the company in an unreasonably favorable light.
The worst part about working at carousel is the fact that no matter how hard you work only the a-- kissers ever seem to get promoted

I worked at carousel for 11 years. I was fairly compensated, until I wasn't. I have no gripes or bones to pick. We both got what we wanted. If you want something else move on. Man up and stop complaining. A number of the negative comments are correct. But if you stay, you deserve what you get.
Such bs. There are employees with over 15 years, loyal service, that got the axe with no warning. Disgraceful. The owners are cowards, only looking out for themselves.

if you ever tell him the truth or what he doesn't want to hear your days will be number he starts talking behind your back asking other people about what you are doing wrong to get them to agree with him and then you are out

I'd be embarrassed if I'm still working here in 10 years . The economy is to dinamic to stay here 10 years . So many better opportunities .

These comments are laughable. You hide behind a keyboard and talk about things you know nothing about. The tenure of the employees here at CI is north of 10 plus years, I challenge you to find ANY company even close to this. Sorry Grapes, try looking in the mirror as to why you might not be successful in life. Nothing is handed to you or free
As far as firings go. It is called right sizing, pretty standard during an MA since many jobs a duplicated.
As far as the other comments, so inaccurate not even worth commenting on .
I'd give carousel another 5 years tops . You can tell jeff has had enough he just looks warn out . Plus the co founder mike left a few years back and you don't just do that because things are fine and dandy . In addition the numerous high paid employees have been let go ( those making over 100k) as to the fact the debt which I don't know if it's true . Perhaps they will just cut salaries or continue firing high paid employees and executives . Carousel is not known for being loyal to their employees ask anyone whose worked there more than 5 years . Perhaps with the avatar bankruptsy they will fold shop . I'd just love to see it because I think they are such morally reprehensible people who run that place
