You don't see all URM teams. Where did you see that? I'm yet to see an all Hispanic, Native American or African-American team. But I can specifically point to all-Indian groups if the manager is an Indian. And there are reports of folks being framed by Indian managers and thrown out, an ethnic cleansing scheme.

I have seen whites do nothing but shoot breeze at Cornelius Pass roadhouse, and come back with good reviews... shoe's on the other foot
Nothing new...years ago I was in an org, and left to another org. Decided that I wanted go back, and found a job I was uniquely qualified for. The one drawback was that the group was all Indian with the exception of 1 white male. I started the interview process, which lasted almost a month. I went from one Indian to another and it looked like to me that though I was qualified, they were looking for one of their own to bring in (that was my impression based on previous experience with Indian groups). After going through the many interviews, I decided to contact the hiring manager's manager (who was familiar with my background). The next day I was offered the job. Someone told me that they overheard the manager telling the hiring manager that if I wanted to come back, he better offer me the job. Possibly my experience was unique, but whenever one group of people can get away with discrimination, they'll take advantage. White men did in the past, and now we're seeing the Indians and females discriminate. So much for equality.
So....based on previous experience with Indian (and women) heavy groups, I knew it would be in my best interest to make my way out as soon as possible. I remained in the org, but fortunately in more inclusive group.
Fake news, Indian group will have one young white female for diversity, and another non-Indian for ssl4/ssl5; make sure their buddy protected and meet intel diversity also.
