It is in real world now known as...... logging by exemption
Think New, Act New.......cut the dividend, no headcount reductions would be a start, investment in m&s, cut the b---s---, trust your employees to do a good job.................
Alas, no sign of that..just more of the same....I look forward to the next e2e survey.....everybody disengaged in management speak, yet still they bust there guts for slb, only to be insulted by this sh-- survey with sh-- questions.
The layoffs will continue until the morale improves.
this is very true but now the CEO wants us to do new things and act new so this is the way now to get noticed and promoted. Think new act new is the new philosophy and we better comply or we will get bad performance reports....
If you try to think new and, god forbid, act new in schlumberger it isa surely the quickest way to getting laid off. The best thing for keeping your job s to stay very conservative and dont do anything new or different that could be perceived as going against the rules and procedures.
The funny thing is in order to think new you must first get laid off from slb because when you stay there someone does the 'thinking' for you already. What a classic dumped down place!
Like ' The Transformation', meaningless management-speak.
Can they force us to think and act new? How will this be measured and tracked?
I am tired of all the cheap slogans from this CEO
