Networking Status

Any updates on the networking business status especially if there are any interested bidders in fray - with extreme also buying brocade i believe they would pick and choose key products from each company and junk the rest how does that impact current partners and customers in the long run

Last I have heard still only 1 bidder, potential Chinese bidders have withdrawn as they do not think they would get approval from US govt.

The list is not final, but they are getting close. Leadership teams have been engaging in "transition" talks with Extreme leadership. Undoubtedly, some will be left behind, but most will transfer, especially field sales and SE teams. The people who go will be on some kind of probation and will likely have to interview for whatever job they're placed into. Qualified bids must be in by May 18th. If there are no bidders, then Extreme will be confirmed on May 25th if there are no objections. If there other bidders, an auction will take place on May 23rd.

Seems the list of networking resources going over to extreme if they are the buyers is almost ready and managers should know details by today - its possible a major chunk might be left dry
