Any feedback on Mahoney's Town Hall this morning? Curious to hear the perspectives; I understand one ALT member blamed everyone but the ALT for the poor Airline ratings. Is that true?

Hey 1GMS. I hear ya about Byron. I actually ran into him last week at Home Depot on Warner & Kyrene. We chatted for probably 10 minutes never once mentioning HON. He looks well and said he's doing great.

Heath Patrick lied through his teeth. When he started saying that Honeywell had the exact same obsolesecnce program as Rockwell Collins he lied through his teeth, then he said we just execute it poorly. YOU THINK? That means we DO NOT have the same program, we s---. We design obsolesence into new designs

Then he went on to say we have onluy added C&PS people, what hogwash, what he does not tell you i the C&PS folks opush back and throw work over th efence whcih is why the cusotmers think we do not have as many, there is nothign but push back

@1woc, when the senior ALT is involved, money is no object. HON DOES have money for ALT raises/bonuses and ALT parties and transportation. Things HON has NO money for include:

YOUR raise

Dental benefits

Service bulletins

Product R&D

New product development

401k matching

Etc

What's the difference between a sperm and someone in HON ALT? The sperm has a chance at becoming a human being.

I suspect the woman with 6 children was put in the outer L of the 9-block and was is fear of losing her job; standard Honeywell leadership mandate. Additionally, she likely putting in 60 hours per week (20 hours unpaid); again worried about her 9-block placement and getting fired.

If the gal is reading this, I commend you and hope you can balance your work-life in favor of your family. Your blessed to have 6 children.

Why did the sales team meet in San Diego? Wasn't there somewhere less expensive they could have met in our cost constrained environment?

That is great feedback, thank you. I have left G, AS, HW after 30 years and have heard about the poor morale, poor team work and all the other important employee satisfaction actions that have since ceased. Very unfortunate for a company that had the brightest, motivated and proudest employees. I was very fortunate to be part of the Byron Smith organization.

It was more of the same old HON propaganda. When asked directly about the third point thesis about divesting aero, Mahoney did not flat out say HON was not going to act on their suggestion. Actually, he said the opposite. He said the business​ is taking their suggestion very carefully and ultimately, the board of directors would need to weigh in and vote on it. He also over used the words perspective, relative, and standpoint.

Someone mentioned some sales woman who has 6 kids and has an "inspirational story". Let me guess, she's in sales, is a woman and has 6 kids so I'm betting she's allowed to work from home and miss out on all the face to face collaboration we all have to endure. I don't have 6 kids and I get to contribute to the pollution and traffic in Phoenix. I guess the lesson is have more kids?

Mr Patrick mentiobed we have improved on a few customer satisfaction surveys. This is easy to do when you've been dead last on almost every satisfaction survey for the better part of a decade. We have to highlight the positive I guess.
