left after ~30yrs in chip world, retirement severence was great! there is life outside intel with significantly lower stress. Intel trains you well that I get respect everywhere I go. But Glad I left, whole family happier due to I becoming a better human being post Intel.. The stress you go through at Intel can be borne for only so long when the stock stopped zooming in the 80's and 90's. Sorry but the new management is on the job training. Future is not bright for Intel, since the 63% margins are never going to happen. Good luck! BTW, that IOT effort out of chandler is not going to cut it anywhere close to 63%. This whole IOT strategy is a joke. That whole team in chandler should be sold off. What a drain on Intel.

Left intel after 20 years. Really enjoyed working for them apart from the last year or two. In my 20 years I have only had one good manager who inspired, cared and encouraged. The rest were like kids in the back of a car.. are we there yet, is it done yet? I never realised how stressed I was until I left. Grateful for all the posit8ves but glad I'm out out.
After leaving INTEL particularly that mentally ill team , i felt i was not enjoying the beauty of the world
during the time i was with INTEL.
i can see the light now , take a relaxed breath , no background threads .
current company and team is employee friendly.
INTEL was a good company to work. but not in the recent. All ladders filled with south asian micro management people who know how to play politics and survive and retain their job.
Life is good! Thanks intel, now get yields up!
