Is it Time to Make a Change In Management?

The metrics of the past 5 years (decline in: share price, dividends, production, reserves, employees, morale; increase in: debt) would indicate it is indeed time for a change. Employees have lost confidence in the ELT and the passive BOD. Confidence once lost is extremely difficult to regain without a change in management. If COP was a SEC college football team, there would have been a change a long time ago.

Terminate all of ELT and BOD with cause. Escort them out of the building with Harris County Sheriff Deputies. Then claw back the past three year's bonuses. Then have the SEC file security charges!

Im afraid you are right. Past time. Not just management, but leadership. We haven't had much that has been effective in a long time.

AMEN BROTHA!!! But it doesn't stop there. (At least not in IT) IT Leaders: Don't SHIRK your responsibilities! Get rid of your BIGG problem while you can still use company restructuring as a reason. Get out and talk to your people. Eliminate the ineptness in some of your L48 IT BU leaders. Some of them only know how to talk the talk. They don't have the IT expertise you think. They just use the buzz words and jump on the technology of the day and then blame others when projects don't get completed. People are miserable and it's not just because of the company's financial woes. It's truly a BIGG problem!
