Thread regarding ConocoPhillips layoffs

REMEMBER TO VOTE YOUR SHARES BEFORE MAY 11

If you are satisfied with the direction of this company, then support the BOD with your vote.

If you are disappointed with the direction of this company, then turn out the BOD with your vote.

Since May 1, 2012 when COP traded as "the world's largest independent". Since then (5 years ago)

Share Price: DECREASED from $56/s to $46/s

Quarterly Dividend: DECREASED from $0.66/s to $0.265/s

Production: DECREASED from 1.66 MMBOE to 1 MMBOEPD (after 2017 asset sales: San Juan, Canada, Panhandle-Anadarko-Barnett, Permian marginal gas & oil, GOM marginal oil & gas)

Reserves: DECREASED from 8.6 MMBOE to 5-6 MMBOE (after 2017 asset sales)

Employees: DECREASED from 16,900 to 8,000 (after 2017 asset sales)

If you are satisfied with this performance, then support the current BOD with your vote.

If you are disgusted with this performance, then do the right thing and turn out the current BOD with your vote.

I definitely would, except I have always sold all my RSU shares as very soon as possible (thankfully)

For a new COP fresh start :

Enough is Enough for RL

AL-H should be given a chance as next CEO

MFX Should be sent for retirement

Focus the new COP on risk sharing within a diversified assets - NO more putting all the EGGS in one SHALE basket

Already voted my shares then voted my pocketbook. Sold all shares and re-deployed in Vangard Fund. There is really no reason to invest in COP. There are better managed E&P companies with better growth potential and dividend yield. Just got tired of watching 401-K shrink in value. Had to make a change.

Was the head count reduction really that much?
