Any thoughts on when the generous free fruit will be taken away?

Nonsense..... Bananas will be delivered using drones. Self driving bananas will also be available.
They could install a smart banana dispenser connected to the cloud. No bananas after 830am and if we try to swipe more than one banana we may be subjuct to disciplinary action up to and including being shamed or forced to attend fruit training.
They could streamline the banana dispensary at Intel.. by having security guards at each entrance hand banana to each employee upon entering work..
When I use to work at Intel I used to make multiple trips and collect 5-10 lbs fruit/day and then sell at Safeway in front of Intel. Anybody still doing that?
Is it always bananas? In India it used to be a different fruit everyday. Has something changed?

intel india won't last long with perks even with low pay ... they gotta deliver and haven't proven jack yet in terms of any real projects

India might have all these great things but you still have to live in India. That's a hard pass for me, thanks.
Ha Lunch and snacks are free in India plus allowance transportation to and From work free. MEDICAL for whole family plus parents fre :-).... more vacation and holidays as well.

Fair estimate, about 1/2 banana per employee? since not all employees take the Free Banana..
With about 50K US employees, that would be about 25K Bananas per day...
Each Banana might cost 25cents? 25K x 0.25$ = $6250/day? WOW!!
$6250/day x 250 workday/year = $1,562,500/year !! WTF, that is about 2 VP salaries!!
BK wakeup... dump the Free Banana and hire 2 more VPs !!
