Don't wait until you are laid off. If you are in the US it may happen sooner than you think. Start you job search early. There are many good companies looking for people just like you! They will appreciate you as a contributor and pay you accordingly. You will be getting raises and bonuses at least once a year. Why? Because you deserve them... If you do get laid off - be prepared to explain in your job interviews why you waited and why you allowed to treat yourself with disrespect. Your future hiring managers read the social media and have an idea about DXC.

thank God I was close enough to Social Security age that I waited until I was RIF'd last year because I wanted to get any severance due to me and that carried me until SS kicked in. Why give up free money jumping the ship early ? At this stage in the game, anything is better than nothing.
As much as you would like to exceed SLA's, believe me there is a practice in business that you should meet SLA's but never pay out the pocket to exceed an SLA. Basically everything costs money and outsourcing companies are to deliver the bare minimum and client will pay for the bare minimum too.

You don't really expect 170,000 staff to suddenly start looking for jobs or quitting their Dixie posts do you?
Secondly whether you believe it or not, most of the companies out their look at DXC very carefully, they like to see how much DXC has cut and what the impact has been. Because it helps them plan for their own mass culls when they need their next bonus.
Smaller companies tend not to, but most medium and large companies are in favour of offshoring, they appreciate there is a fine balance between how much you can let go and what you retain without getting government/press/staff kicking your front door in. DXC sets the example and bench marks for the industry.
