Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Communication

Do you think that Intel owes its employees and shareholders some sort of communication regarding the current project cancellations and riffs?

  1. Stealth is fine.

  2. Notify those affected first then explain the rationale to the company.

3, best idea. But we fired most of that talent by now.

How about option 3 -- enhance x86 to keep the emulators at bay in the Server space, and develop a legitimate (non-fad) technology line of business beyond x86.

Option 3 should be the objective, but we have yet to see it -- which sadly means that either option 1 or 2 will likely result. The only question is when.

Comes like last time with quarterly announcement.

Due to continued slide of x86, competitive threats of AMD and Qualcomm ARM and the required funding for new initiatives we are announcing further cuts in unprodicitive programs and people to better align our resources to our new opportunities.

What it really means, we have failed again and again for the past few years so we are acknowledging our failures with more cuts and more wasteful spending on new follies, great ACTs to follow!

😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😉
