Laid off after returning from WC injury

Returned to work at DXC 1 month ago after a work injury. Had my last therapy session Thurs., then laid off Fri. Was told my productivity was below others who have been there for 10-30 years! I've been working at HPE/DXC for 18 months. Was also told there wasn't enough work for all so they let me go as a temp/contract employee. Wasn't given any training to learn new things and due to my injury, I couldn't perform my full duties yet. What a bunch of bull! How can I compete with others who've been there for so long?

Yeah I had an injury, but geez show some compassion. Nope, get someone younger and cheaper. WFR for older workers, no raises, anger and fear rampant, management? lousy and uncaring. I was wondering when I would be let go. Guess I have my answer.

Let me get this straight... you are (were) a TEMP employee with 18 months of experience and think in that sliver of time you have as much experience as a 30 year, full time veteran?? Your recent LOA is a moot point. You need to go see a shrink and resolve your congnitive dissonance issues.

Supposedly I was on a year to year contract for the first three years, then hired permanently. I was let go half way through my second contract. Still burned about the way they mistreat their workers- the most important parts of the company. Kind of feel some age discrimination going on also. I'm 56 and have some health issues.
