Thread regarding Target Corp. layoffs

BI engg weeds

BI engg VP..Directors..acclaimed Principal Engineers are of no value to Target and need to go. holding titles, delivering no results. Your shoddy solutions seen in demo day reflect your sub standard knowledge. BIA is another waste..monkeys generating reports..learn a thing or 2 from TTS.

Daydreaming lackeys. nothing more than drivel.. Stop wasting Target's money and let the ship stay afloat.

@NVv2sBu: Name one thing that the BI team has done to help Target? I worked in the group for 3 years and asked the question, all I got for answers were they are analyzing data. They were doing nothing to improve distribution or instocks at the time. What a waste of money. Put the effort into stocking the shelves so people can buy product.

TTS does not have the capability for data analytics and data science. I have seen some of their DBAs and DevOps engineers trying to built data analytics and fail miserably.

For now.. both EDABI and TTS has place in Target.

Munching on popcorn and having a Coke while watching the verbal jousting between BI and TTS. Should be fun.

IMHO, we should never have 2 IT type organizations. Too much duplication and conflicts. Looking forward to more comments from both sides :)

Learn a thing or two from tts?!?!?! You had all of the the tools to accomplish what BIA has been trying to do. You sat on your a-- with the keys to the castle, while other groups said f--- it, I'm tired of making no progress working with and trying to include tts, lets build our own castle.

tts is one of the major problems that is going to have to be fixed, especially considering Amazon's retail footprint acquisition....
