Any word if there will be an expression of interest period for the upcoming round of severences?

My boss asked me if I wanted to EOI. Didn't say when it would be, but sounded like end of September or beginning of October. Fingers crossed.
EOI was quietly offered to finance employees months ago, but we've all heard how this has been used against employees in the past by our leader, and so the number expressing interest was quite small. Another sign of corrupt management.
Nothing make people depressed than hearing the sound of a toilet (COP) flushing another employee then seeing the phone ring from a conference room phone!
No way, all the funding is depleted!!
Let your supervisor know. That way they can plan with your name at the top of the list of people that don't want to be left behind poking the corpse. It may not be "accepted", but if they know you don't want to be there, there's a good chance you'll be granted sweet freedom to move on with some sort of severance
The severance package has already been offered to Finance folks, but we have not been told if we get it or when. Possibly start in July.
it is my understanding that if you want a package, you can actually ask them to consider letting you leave now, with severance. It is up to the manager or probably the VP to approve and support your request, but it might happen. The upcoming round could be in 2018 at this pace.
