The board needs to explore some "strategic alternatives" quickly, while there is still some value left of Target. Otherwise we're all at risk of layoff.

"revolutionary decisions"???
Execs are here to "rest and vest"...
Right....
No bold and revolutionary decisions. No ideas to take on the competitors. No deep detail brainstorming on guest preferences and value based services.
I some how agree the leadership team have lost the game plan.
Most of the time i see is squabble again the leadership team for promotions and unnecessary attention seeking.
Here's the deal. Target crashed because of its IT. During the decade that IT should have led the company (80's and 90's were merch driven), these morons outsourced their deal. The death knell was sounded then. As long as the clown VPs and DMGs from all the previous debacles are running it, this is dead. The place needs an entirely new CIO and VP IT staff. All these clowns have been making money whereas scores of us worker bees are screwed because of these a--.
That was a terrible town hall meeting. I'm sorry but remodels are not going to save us. It also seemed like BC is ready to move on
BC has no clue how to rally the troops, could you feel how dead and uninspired the Great Hall was as he tried to inject his sense of urgency into the team. Boring!
The board has to go for any meaningful change. They selected BC and have continued to support every poor business decision that clown has made. After almost 3 years of "transformation" we should be in a place to compete with amazon. Where are we instead? Putting a fresh coat of paint on stores instead of making sure things are on the shelf to sell. Doesn't matter if the walls are freshly painted if you can't figure out logistics!!!
