Last week they let a colored guy go in our back room, there was another post on here that they shut the little ceasers which was mostly staffed by coloreds.
I have also heard a rumor that our nearest Kmart also let go of a black lady. Its funny because there still alot of mexicans working there, and almost no coloreds no more.
Whats goring on? I know Eddie treats us all like p--p, but does he target coloreds first?

Here is something Sears related. In about 200 of the remaining stores they are bringing back the old concept of Cafeteria dining... the daily special will be Fried Chicken and Watermelon...
This post need to be deleted. We come on this thread to get information about Sears, we do not need this kind of conversation on this thread. We receive a lot of helpful information and some people mess it up for all of the nice people on the Layoff. Get off this thread.

Relax guys. This type of dialect isn't the least bit offensive. Old school southern-ish? Yes but not offensive. This is coming from someone who is in fact a minority.
As for the question, I don't think this is a race thing. Back when I worked for sears we had a pretty diverse store (mostly due to the area). The only people I saw getting let go were white ironically. I think it's just 'luck of the draw'.

If you must make note of race when referring to individuals, you could just say "minorities." Or you could just call them PEOPLE.

Around here we call "African american" people coloreds and we are whites. There ain't no racism here, I have lots of colored friends. Hell, I love BBQ and the colored people can cook BBQ like none other. I got a family of them living down the block and they play with my kids and we all help each other work on our cars and such. Ive been there for a bbq, best damn BBQ ever. They are good people, a credit to thier race.
Maybe you are racist cause when I mention these things you get all defensive.
Blacks means african americans and so does coloreds. I aint racist. What am I supposed to call them?
